Available adult dogs

Sometimes a dog doesn't end up being used in our program, or we have had them in our program long enough and its time to find them their perfect home! We look for retirement homes so that our beloved dogs can get a chance to live with a family and get one on one time and attention. Note that no dog has to leave our care if a suitable retirement home cannot be found, we will continue to love them here!

Finlay

Finlay is a Male cream short hair miniature dachshund. Born in August 2024. He's been pretty shy here, but we have been working to get his personality to show. A home without children would be in his best interest, as he's not confident around kids. A slower paced home would fit him well. He has been around cats. He likes to bark at them, but doesn't chase. Aspen

Aspen is an outgoing girl. She is a heavy set black and cream female. She's a sweetheart who loves food. She can keep up with activities or is happy to sleep on the couch. young kids who respect a dogs boundary would be fine in her prospective family, otherwise, older children or adult only families. Rustee

Rustee is a long hair chocolate and tan male. Hes got the sweetest eyes. He needs a cat free home. If you're not interested in chasing rabbits and squirrels through the woods, this guy may not be for you. His hunting instincts are well intact. He's a barker. Likes to cuddle, but is a menace if there is snow. Good luck getting him inside without bringing in twice his body weight in snow. he is a larger fella, weighing 14ish pounds. Shadow

Shadow is a black and tan dapple female. Around 8ish pounds. She is looking for a family that has a low activity level. She does not appreciate strangers. Her perspective family will need to commit to meeting her. No decisions on her placement will be made without her family spending some time with her first. She has experience with children and could do okay with respectful kids. Preference will be to single human households with no other pets.

Nacho

Nacho was born in August 2024. He was never adopted as a puppy, but that isnt his fault! He's a sweet guy who loves a good tummy rub. He likes to get into trouble, but he's cute, so is he really in trouble? He is ready to find his people. He'd be a good candidate for an active family. Reach out to me if you'd like to discuss Nacho.
